Some important advice from Gemma:
- Your research method and research question are equally important
- Always do your interviews in the subject's natural environment; you'll find answers to questions you didn't know you had by avoiding the sterilization of a testing facility
- PILOT your research/interviews before doing them live; even if it feels silly to test it out with a coworker, this is where you'll find some of your errors and be able to troubleshoot before launching the live data collection process.
- Select multiple methods and activities if possible
